How to make Essential Oil Blends and Resins

Ever passed by those expensive aisles at the mall and smelled the exotic aromas coming from them? Ever wished you could afford them? Well now you can!

You can create your own sumptuous blend of Essential oils that will not only arouse your senses but may increase any romantic mood! Blends can be created to soothe you into a peaceful night of sleeping, ease sore muscles or simply as a body fragrance, room freshener and other imaginative ways.

The base oils that are most commonly used are Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil or Almond Oil, although one you can also use Olive Oil as well. The first three oils tend not to leave an oily residue however. Simply choose the essential oils that you prefer and mix into your blend and then combine that blend with the carrier oil.

Sensuous Blend

Use this one as a perfume or in a diffuser. It is exotic and sensual.

2 drops Rose
1 drop Patchouli
5 drops Sandalwood

Sleepy Time Blend

This blend soothes and relaxes all the stress and tension of daily life. After mixing with a carrier oil, put a few drops on your pillow at night or place a few drops on the temples and at the back of the neck. Sleep well!

2 drops Chamomile,
5 drops Lavender
5 drops Valerian
5 drops Sweet Marjoram

This blend is not only provocative but is invigorating and will touch your inner soul. It's deep woody aroma will linger on your skin for a long time.
