Possible Uses: Fennel can be helpful with Bruising, cellulite, flatulence, gums, halitosis, mouth, nausea, obesity, toxin build-up, and water retention according to many aroma therapist professionals.
Fennel oil Overall Scent: Warm and Sweet. A great option if you like the smell of anise but find it a bit too strong. Sweet fennel has a fruity scent with an herbal top note and anise-like aroma.
Fennel oil Use Suggestions: A wonderful touch in soaps and hair products because of the delicate light undertones that balance the sweet scent. It is an excellent body cleanser. Blend a few drops of fennel oil with 10-20 drops of carrier oil or unscented lotion, and massage into the skin.

Contraindications: Fennel oil Should be avoided by pregnant women and lactating women, persons with endometriosis and epilepsy. Undiluted essential oils in their purest state are extremely potent, and should be blended with a carrier oil or other medium prior to use directly on the skin, as the essential oil may cause irritation.
