The Cycles of Scripture
One more time around...
It's a cycle and it begins now!
The bible is replete with events and circumstances and prophecies that seen to repeat themselves. Many of these 'cycles' find their completion in the number SEVEN. These cycles of seven are more than just a passing fancy of the Creator of the Universe - they are embedded in each cell of your body!
The Rhythm of Seven
The modern science of studying how living things handle time - which goes by the name of chronobiology - teamed up with computer and discovered that innate seven-day (circaseptan) cycles are in a wide variety of life forms - including humans!
So while we mortals ponder the reason for a seven-day cycle and argue whether it is a religious or cultural invention - we can now understand certain things about the rhythm of the number seven:
- It is ancient in biological origin;
- It is independent from the environmental cycles of sun, moon and stars;
- It is embedded in all living cells and
- It is the beat to which all life is tuned.
So if ALL of life - every living cell, in every animal, plant and human is based on an intricate, indisputable cycle of seven, it begs the question .... Is there a common designer of ALL OF LIFE? Well, those reading this article, will of course say YES! However, many of our family and friends need a bit of scientific proof to sway them in this direction, and this may just be the tip of the iceberg.
