Vinegar is a Natural Fabric Softener
Vinegar is a wonderful natural fabric softener - Just add 1/2 cup to your regular rinse cycle. This way you can avoid anything that might aggravate sensitive skin.
Lavender Fabric Freshener
My favorite of all the herbs and essential oils has to be Lavender - it has a myriad of uses!! I grow my own so I always have a fresh sprig or two to pinch off and enjoy - even when I don't feel like doing anything else with it!
You can simply pinch off a few sprigs, put in a spray bottle with a bit of distilled water, or vinegar or vodka (preservatives) and let it sit for a couple of hours. What a nice alternative to heavy perfumes!
Clothes Freshener
Ok, how easy is this! Drop a few drops of essential oil of choice onto a small cloth and pop in the dryer for fresh smelling clothes. Here are few to choose from to get you started - be creative!
