Air Freshener Recipes
Below are some basic air freshener recipes. They are easy to make and you'll love them! Most are made with citrus essential oils. One sidenote is that you might want to remember that some eo's can discolor fabric, so always be sure to test them out in an inconspicuous corner. Some essential oils that I consider a must have for air fresheners are vanilla, sweet orange, lime and lavender!
Simple Spray Recipe:
Just remember, for about 1 ounce (2 Tablespoons) of spray simply use about 1 teaspoon of vodka or witch hazel (preservative) to about 3 to 12 drops of essential oils. The usual doseage is that 3 drops makes a .05% concentration and 12 drops will makes a 2% concentration. Added to that is 5 teaspoons of distilled or spring water. And whalla! you have a wonderfully easily made Air Freshener!
