Frankincense & Myrrh soap Balls
Easy to Make Frankincense & Myrrh Soap Balls
Ingredients:
9 ounces of pure, unscented soap
4 fl. ounces water
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon finely ground oatmeal - optional
1 teaspoon sweet almond or apricot kernel oil
12 drops myrrh essential oil
8 drops Frankincense and Myrrh essential oil blend
Cheese grater (fine)
Double boiler with a ceramic insert to evenly disperse gentle heat
Wooden Spoon preferred
Dried herbs (optional)
Grate the soap with a fine cheese grater. Place the soap in the double boiler with the water. Gently heat-don't boil! Gradually the mixture will form a thick and sticky paste. When all of the soap has melted, add honey, oatmeal, oil and dried herbs(optional) and mix in well. Transfer to a clean bowl and let cool a bit before adding the essential oil blend. Mix very thoroughly.
Wet your hands and take out a small handful of the mixture and mold into round balls. From the above recipe you can form about 5 small balls. Place the balls on a sheet of waxed paper and let harden. Check in a week or so - you can also place the mixture into candy molds if you prefer and let them harden for interesting shapes!
